Corrigan started hashing in 1981 with the Agana Hash House Harriers, founded by Grey Cloud (above, right). The only other prior hasher to be in that founding group was Slimius Maximus, who had run in Fort Worth and Seoul. He hooked Corrigan up in 1984 to visit the Seoul HHH where he was first exposed to true "Commowealth expat" influenced, male only hashing. He left Guam in 1985 for Columbus, Ohio, where he founded the now-defunct Mid-America HHH. In 1987 Corrigan founded the Oregon HHH in the Portland/Salem area. Later that year Corrigan attended his first InterAm in Philadelphia, and hasn't missed one since. AC (above left, now Juneau HHH), turned Corrigan on to World Interhash, telling him tales of the debauched Pattaya event in 1986. So Corrigan kicked off his Interhash career with the KL 50th Anniversary in '88 then Bali. He returned to Guam to become The Tyrant for several years before going to Olympia, Washington and running regularly with Tacoma, Puget Sound and Vancouver, B.C. (and Oregon, of course). Once again he returned to Guam, then bounced to Nashville, Tennessee where he is Grand Master of the Music City HHH, originator of World Peace Through Beer in 1997.
In his mundane "real" life, Corrigan is an investor in
Collier and McKeel Handcrafted Tennessee Whiskey and the ghost writer of
Ruby's Son, A Journey from Poverty to Peace.
Corrigan in Puerto Vallarta, 2007.
